The top is pressed. The possibility of liquids getting into the appliance’s body has been minimized as well as the potential failures. The edges on the top plate are rounded which also makes easier to keep the appliance clean and saves the time of the personnel responsible for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
An electric stove built for high-output cooking in professional kitchens, where consistent heat and hygiene are essential. Six round heating plates, each with its own 2.6 kW element, transfer heat directly to pots and pans. The pressed stainless steel top eliminates seams and crevices, so food debris and grease cannot collect. A removable chimney directs steam and smoke away from the worktop, keeping the air clear and the workspace cooler.
The operator sets each plate to one of six temperature levels using the ergonomic knobs on the front panel. Once the plates reach the chosen setting, they hold the temperature steadily, allowing batches of food to be cooked in sequence without constant adjustment. The stove stands on adjustable round legs, so it can be levelled on uneven floors or raised to match the height of adjacent GORT LINE 700 units.
The body is constructed from high-quality stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The removable chimney can be washed in commercial dishwashers, reducing manual scrubbing. Round heating plates, each 220 mm in diameter and manufactured in the EU, provide a stable, even heat source. The stove is designed to integrate with LINE 700 open bases, which can be fitted with universal left- or right-hinged doors to convert the space beneath into a cupboard.
A power rating of 15.6 kW indicates the load the stove places on the electrical supply. It requires a 400 V three-phase circuit, which is standard in commercial kitchens for high-demand appliances. The 1200 mm width allows the stove to fit into most professional kitchen layouts while providing enough space for multiple pots and pans to be used simultaneously. The 730 mm depth ensures it does not protrude excessively into the workspace, and the 850 mm height aligns with standard worktop levels for comfortable use.
Cleaning involves wiping down the pressed stainless steel top after each service, removing and washing the chimney as needed, and periodically checking the heating plates for residue. The adjustable legs should be inspected to ensure stability, and the hair-joint connections should be kept free of debris to maintain a seamless join with adjacent units.
The stove is part of the BHS-G LINE 700 range, designed for modular kitchen setups where units can be combined to create a customised workspace.
