Heated cooking trolley with two independent cupboard sections designed for displaying, demonstrating, storing and keeping main courses warm.
This heated cooking trolley is designed to maintain dishes at serving temperature in a professional kitchen. It features two independent water baths for gastronorm containers, each warmed by submerged elements. Heat transfers from the water to the container walls, ensuring even warmth without drying or burning the food. Separate temperature controls allow each bath to be set to the required warmth for different dishes. Natural water circulation prevents cold spots, keeping all portions ready for service.
To operate, fill each bath with water to the indicated level and connect the unit to a 230 V single-phase circuit. Position the GN 1/1 containers in the baths and adjust the temperature controls as needed. The elements cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature. Drain valves at the base of each bath enable quick water changes or emptying after use. The lower shelf offers space for utensils or additional containers, while four castors—two with brakes—allow easy movement between kitchen and service areas.
Constructed from stainless steel, the trolley includes baths, frame, and protective bumpers to guard against impacts. The 2.1 kW power rating is suitable for a standard commercial kitchen circuit. The dimensions of 1034 mm in length, 690 mm in width, and 900 mm in height ensure it fits beneath most worktops and through standard doorways. The temperature range of 30 °C to 100 °C supports holding, proofing, and gentle reheating tasks.
For cleaning, drain the water, wipe the baths and frame with a damp cloth, and rinse the drain valves to avoid scale build-up. The stainless steel surfaces resist corrosion and can be sanitised with standard kitchen chemicals. Regularly check the castors for smooth movement and test the brakes to ensure stability when stationary.
