A Bottle Display Case is an effective and visually powerful tool for presenting beverages – it ensures product visibility, the correct storage temperature and an aesthetically appealing display for guests in a restaurant, bar or hotel. BHS offers a wide range of Bottle Display Cases – refrigerated, neutral and decorative versions – for bars, restaurants, hotels and beverage shops across Europe.
BHS bottle display case range includes both compact countertop versions and larger stationary refrigerated display cases for wine, beer, water and soft drinks. Refrigerated bottle display cases maintain the ideal temperature of +7–+12°C for wine, while neutral versions are suitable as a decorative element in a bar or restaurant design.
Beverage presentation is an integral visual part of a bar and restaurant concept – properly displayed bottles influence the customer’s drink choice, stimulate additional orders and increase the average bill. A refrigerated display case with a selection of wine or craft beer at the end of the bar or in the restaurant hall is a powerful sales and visual identity element. BHS offers Bottle Display Cases for various HoReCa applications across Europe.
Refrigerated wine display cases – temperature +7–+18°C, with UV-protective glass for optimal wine storage conditions. Multi-zone wine display cases – separate temperature zones for white, red and dessert wine simultaneously. Refrigerated display cases for soft drinks and beer – 0–+4°C, designed for high-volume sales. Neutral bar bottle display cases and shelves – for decorative display of spirits that do not require refrigeration. Semi-open gin/whisky collection display cases – a premium bar design element. A Wine Cooler is another solution for storing bottles in the bar’s storage area. BHS offers display cases for various types of beverages, bar configurations and serving concepts across Europe.
Peltier cooling system – quieter, without compressor vibration, suitable for wine that requires a stable vibration-free environment. Compressor cooling – high throughput for commercial models with faster cooling. UV-protective glass – prevents UV radiation that spoils wine flavour, popular in premium wine display cases. Digital temperature display – quick overview of storage conditions. LED lighting – does not emit heat but enhances the visual presentation of beverages. BHS offers various cooling technologies for bottle display cases according to the requirements of the product being stored.
In refrigerated bottle display cases, the temperature must be monitored regularly – storing wine at a higher temperature accelerates ageing and spoilage. Alcohol display cases are not a classic HACCP item, but for food products (juices, water) in refrigerated display cases, the +4°C standard must be observed. The interior of the display case must be cleaned regularly to prevent mould and bacteria growth in a humid environment. BHS offers display cases with easy-to-clean interiors, removable shelves and a condensate drainage system to comply with HACCP in refrigerated display cases.
In a premium wine bar – an elegant multi-zone wine display case with UV protection and wooden shelves on the wall as a decorative element. In a restaurant with an extensive wine list – a larger wine display case near the entrance or in the hall for product demonstration to guests. In a hotel bar – a refrigerated display case with soft drinks and beer for self-service in the breakfast area. In a craft beverage shop – a refrigerated bottle display case for beer and hard kombucha. BHS helps choose the optimal bottle display case for each HoReCa format, beverage range, room design and customer flow.
What temperature should wine be stored at in a display case? The optimal temperature for red wine is +14–+18°C, for white wine +7–+10°C, and for champagne +4–+8°C. A multi-zone wine display case allows maintaining several temperature zones simultaneously.
Can bottle display cases be used for beverages other than wine? Yes, most refrigerated bottle display cases are universal – suitable for beer, soft drinks, water and other beverages. The temperature regulator can be adjusted for different types of beverages. BHS consultants help choose a universal model.
