Gas cooking top with high-power small size burners made of corrosion-resistant material have been used. They provide perfect combustion and even heating on the whole pot surface.
A gas burner with a solid cast iron top transfers heat directly to pots and pans without hot spots. The iron plate absorbs the flame's energy and spreads it evenly across its surface, so every part of the pan receives the same temperature. This method gives precise control over cooking, whether searing at high heat or holding a gentle simmer. The burner's dual power zones let the operator run two tasks at once, each with its own flame setting, while the pilot burner keeps a small flame ready for instant ignition when needed again.
To start, the operator turns the ergonomic knobs to the desired flame level. The piezo-electric igniter produces a spark at the first turn, lighting the gas without a separate lighter. Once lit, the flame heats the cast iron plate quickly, reaching full temperature in minutes. The left zone runs at 4.15 kW for moderate tasks, while the right zone runs at 7.15 kW for high-heat searing or rapid boiling. The operator places pots directly on the iron surface, adjusting the knobs to maintain the exact temperature required. When finished, the knobs are turned off, and the pilot burner remains lit for the next use.
The burner's construction uses alloy steel for the heating plate, chosen for its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling without warping. The body is made of stainless steel, resisting corrosion and standing up to daily kitchen use. Removable parts include the chimney, burner basins and burner elements, all designed to be washed in a commercial dishwasher. The hair-joint connection system allows the unit to sit flush against other GORT LINE 700 appliances, creating a seamless worktop.
The dual power rating of 4.15 kW and 7.15 kW determines the gas supply needed. A kitchen must have a gas line capable of delivering the combined load, and the operator must specify the correct gas type when ordering. The 800 mm width and 730 mm depth set the space the burner occupies on the worktop, while the 250 mm height fits under standard kitchen cupboards. The cooking surface of 370x572 mm provides ample room for multiple pots or a single large pan.
Cleaning involves removing the chimney, burner basins and burner elements, then washing them in a dishwasher. The cast iron surface is wiped down after each use to prevent food build-up, and the stainless steel body is cleaned with standard kitchen cleaners. The removable parts reduce downtime, as they can be cleaned separately while the burner remains in place.
The burner is ordered with a specified gas type, chosen from G20, G25, G25.3, G2.350, G27 or G30/G31. The CE approval confirms the appliance meets European safety standards, tested by a notified body.
This model is part of the GORT LINE 700 series, designed for modular kitchen setups where units connect side by side.
