A gas stove built for continuous service in professional kitchens, the BHS-G GC2000-120EV delivers controlled heat across six high-output burners. Natural gas or propane flames are directed through protected nozzles to cast-iron pan supports, transferring energy directly to pots and pans. The pilot burner maintains a standby flame, allowing instant ignition without manual sparking, while corrosion-resistant materials extend the life of the burners under daily use.

Heat is generated at the hob surface by combustion of the chosen gas type. The flame heats the base of the pan, and the cast-iron supports distribute the heat evenly, reducing hot spots. Because the burners are open, the operator can adjust the flame height to match the cooking process—gentle simmering or rapid boiling—without waiting for an element to warm or cool. The stove's width allows multiple pans to be used simultaneously, so different dishes can progress at their own pace.

To begin service, the operator selects the required gas type during ordering, ensuring the appliance is calibrated for the local supply. The pilot burner is lit first, providing a constant ignition source. Each main burner is then turned on individually, with the flame height adjusted by the control knob. Pans are placed directly on the cast-iron supports, and cooking proceeds as needed. After use, the burners are turned off, and the pilot remains in standby mode for the next session.

The hob is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. Removable burner basins and burner elements can be lifted out and washed in a commercial dishwasher, eliminating scrubbing around fixed parts. The chimney section is also removable and dishwasher-safe, allowing thorough cleaning of grease and residue. Cast-iron pan supports are durable and stable, supporting heavy pots without warping. A hair-joint connection system at the sides allows the stove to be aligned seamlessly with other GORT LINE 700 units, creating a continuous worktop without gaps.

The power rating of 33.9 kW indicates the total gas load the stove places on the supply line, requiring a dedicated circuit sized for the chosen gas type. The 1200 mm width provides space for six burners, allowing multiple pans to be used at once, while the 730 mm depth fits standard kitchen worktop layouts. The 250 mm height ensures compatibility with most counter installations. The weight of the unit, combined with its footprint, means it is designed to remain in place during service, with no need for frequent relocation.

Cleaning involves removing the burner basins, burner elements and chimney section, then placing them in a dishwasher. The stainless steel body can be wiped down with a damp cloth, and the cast-iron supports can be cleaned with a brush or cloth. The protected nozzles and pilot light reduce the risk of clogging, but periodic inspection is recommended to ensure unobstructed gas flow.

The stove is available for multiple gas types: G20, G25, G25.3, G2.350, G27 or G30/G31. The customer must specify the required type when ordering to ensure correct calibration and safe operation.

The appliance is classified as a stove in the BHS-G professional catering range, designed for integration into kitchen lines using the GORT LINE 700 system.
