The ICE TECH BCS series is a professional stainless steel ice storage bin with trolley, designed to operate together with ICE TECH ice makers. It provides convenient, hygienic, and safe ice storage for intensive professional use.
An ice storage bin with an integrated trolley keeps large quantities of ice ready for use in professional kitchens, food production and display areas. The BCS150 from ICE TECH holds the ice in a sealed, insulated container that slows melting while the trolley base allows the unit to be moved between preparation stations, cold rooms or service counters without transferring the ice to a separate cart.
The principle is simple: ice produced by a compatible ICE TECH machine drops directly into the bin. The stainless-steel interior reflects heat and the walls are insulated to reduce ambient warmth. A lid seals the top, further protecting the ice from temperature fluctuations. When ice is needed, the operator opens the lid, scoops out the required amount, then closes the lid again. The trolley wheels allow the entire unit to be rolled to the point of use, eliminating the need for a secondary container and reducing handling time.
To use the BCS150, position it beneath the discharge chute of a compatible ICE TECH ice maker. Once the bin reaches the desired fill level, slide the lid closed. When ice is required, unlock the lid, lift it, and scoop out the ice. The trolley handles and swivel castors make it easy to manoeuvre through doorways and around worktops. After use, return the bin to its storage position or leave it in place for continuous access.
The bin is constructed from stainless steel for durability and hygiene, with an insulated body to maintain ice quality. The trolley base is fitted with four swivel castors for stability and ease of movement. A single lid, also insulated, seals the top of the container.
Controls are minimal: the lid opens and closes manually, secured by a simple latch. The trolley handles provide grip points for pushing or pulling the unit.
A 137 kg ice capacity allows the BCS150 to hold enough ice for a full service period in busy environments such as restaurants, hotels or food production facilities. The 0.29 m³ volume provides ample space for flake, cube or granular ice, while the 75 kg weight ensures the unit remains stable when fully loaded yet light enough to be moved by one person. The 762 mm width and 1016 mm depth fit through standard kitchen doorways and alongside workstations, while the 1320 mm height allows the bin to slide beneath most ice-maker discharge chutes without requiring additional clearance.
Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless-steel interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The lid and latch should be cleaned regularly to prevent ice build-up. The castors should be checked periodically for debris and lubricated if movement becomes stiff.
The BCS150 is part of the ICE TECH BCS series, designed for use with ICE TECH SC series flake ice machines, FD/HD cube ice machines and GR series granular ice machines. It is suitable for restaurants, supermarkets, food production facilities, hotels and industrial kitchens where efficient ice storage and transport are required.
This model is listed in the catalogue under professional ice storage and transport equipment, alongside compatible ice makers and accessories.
