Anti limescale/ Actyve Coal/Particles
All ice mashines
An anti-limescale filter intercepts dissolved minerals in water before they reach equipment that chills or heats it. As water passes through a dense mesh, calcium and magnesium particles are trapped, preventing them from crystallising on internal surfaces. This keeps heat-exchange coils, spray nozzles and water lines clear, maintaining efficiency and extending service intervals in ice machines, coffee brewers and combi ovens.
The operator installs the filter inline on the water supply, typically between the stopcock and the appliance. Once fitted, it requires no adjustment or power; water flows through continuously, and the filter gradually collects scale until it is replaced. A transparent housing or a pressure gauge on some models shows when the mesh is becoming clogged, signalling the need for a change.
The ICE TECH FAC 7500 is constructed with a 20-micron filter element housed in a durable casing. This rating determines the smallest particle the filter can capture, balancing protection against scale with an acceptable flow rate for professional catering equipment.
Cleaning is limited to periodic replacement of the filter element, as the collected minerals cannot be flushed out. The frequency depends on local water hardness and usage volume, but the filter itself requires no daily maintenance beyond visual inspection.
The FAC 7500 is designed to fit a range of commercial ice machines and beverage systems where limescale protection is critical.
