| NOTES | Hollow ice cube 20g; Cooling system – AIR or WATER (Art.51361) |
PS series ice makers, fully manufactured from stainless steel, are equipped with a built-in storage bin and provide high ice production capacity.
Cooling system – water or air.
Hollow ice cube 20 gr
This ice maker produces hollow ice cubes, each weighing 20 g, designed to melt slowly and enhance drink presentation.
The machine features a finned evaporator with vertical fingers, where water freezes in layers to form hollow cylinders. Once the internal reservoir is filled and the cooling mode selected, the unit operates automatically. Ice is harvested into a 30 kg storage container, pausing production when full and resuming once ice is removed.
Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, the evaporator resists limescale build-up, ensuring reliable performance even with hard water. The stainless steel exterior is durable and easy to clean, suitable for high-traffic kitchens. A front-access panel allows for straightforward maintenance without relocating the unit.
Controls include a power switch and a selector for air or water cooling. The machine operates on a 230 V single-phase supply, with a 0.395 kW power rating to maintain low electrical demand while delivering its specified output.
Weighing 55 kg, the unit can be placed on a sturdy worktop or moved with assistance. Its dimensions—593 mm wide, 557 mm deep, and 932 mm high—allow it to fit under most bar counters or in compact back-of-house spaces.
Maintenance involves emptying the reservoir, brushing the evaporator fingers to remove scale, and sanitising the storage container. The air filter, if present, should be rinsed monthly to sustain cooling efficiency.
Two cooling options are available: air-cooled (standard) and water-cooled (article 51361). Both utilise R290 refrigerant for efficient heat transfer and reduced environmental impact.
This model is designed for continuous use in professional settings such as bars, restaurants, hotels, and event catering.
