| NOTES | Hollow ice cube 20g; Cooling system – AIR or WATER (Art.51351U) |
PS series ice makers, fully manufactured from stainless steel, are equipped with a built-in storage bin and provide high ice production capacity.
Cooling system – water or air.
Hollow ice cube 20 gr
The unit uses a finned evaporator with vertical fingers. Water freezes on the cold fingers, forming hollow tubes that are cut into 20 g cubes. The hollow centre helps ice stay solid longer in drinks, while the dense outer layer resists quick melting. The condenser can be cooled by air or water, making the machine adaptable to different kitchen setups.
To begin, fill the built-in water reservoir, connect the power and choose the cooling method. The machine operates automatically, collecting cubes in the 25 kg storage bin. When full, it pauses until ice is removed. A clear window on the front allows staff to check levels without opening the door.
Nickel-plated copper evaporator fingers ensure efficient heat transfer and resist limescale. The stainless-steel cabinet withstands humid kitchens and is easy to clean. The refrigerant is R290, a low-impact hydrocarbon.
Controls include a power switch, a mode selector for air or water cooling, and a reset button. The 230 V single-phase supply connects to a standard socket, requiring no special wiring in most professional kitchens.
With a daily capacity of 53-54 kg, the machine meets steady demand in medium-sized bars or restaurants. The 25 kg storage bin holds enough ice for several hours, reducing the need for frequent emptying. The 48 kg weight allows two people to move the unit easily, while the 513 × 557 × 811 mm size fits under most worktops or on sturdy shelves.
Maintenance involves wiping the stainless-steel exterior, rinsing the water reservoir and descaling the evaporator fingers as recommended. The air filter, if present, should be checked and cleaned weekly to maintain cooling performance.
Two versions are available: air-cooled or water-cooled, allowing installation in kitchens with or without a water supply.
This model is part of the professional ice-making range, designed for continuous use in hospitality and retail settings.
