Designed for continuous use in bars, restaurants, and hotels, the ICE TECH PS42 creates hollow ice cubes that chill beverages clearly and melt slowly, preserving presentation. Each cube weighs 20 g, ensuring they float well in glasses and display trays, enhancing the appearance of drinks and buffet arrangements.

The machine operates on a standard refrigeration cycle, using R290 refrigerant circulated through a finned evaporator. Water flows over the cold evaporator surface, freezing in layers to form hollow cubes. The design resists limescale build-up, even in hard-water areas, ensuring reliable performance without frequent maintenance.

Operation is straightforward: fill the internal reservoir, start the cycle, and the machine automatically freezes, harvests, and deposits cubes into the built-in 12 kg storage container. A transparent lid allows staff to check ice levels without opening the unit, minimising warm-air entry and ice melt. Production pauses when the container is full, preventing overflow.

Constructed with a stainless-steel cabinet and insulated interior, the unit features aluminium evaporator components for efficient heat transfer and corrosion resistance. Its dimensions—401 mm wide, 506 mm deep, and 698 mm high—allow it to fit under most worktops or on narrow counters, with the dispenser at a convenient height. A single-phase 230 V supply connects to a standard socket, requiring no special wiring.

Controls are simple: an on/off switch and a harvest indicator light. The light shows when the machine is actively producing ice, helping staff manage service timing. The interface remains uncomplicated, ensuring durability in high-traffic settings.

With a daily capacity of 40-43 kg, the PS42 meets the demands of busy bars or breakfast services. The 12 kg storage container holds enough ice to cover peak periods without constant refilling. Weighing 40 kg, the unit is easy to move yet stable on uneven surfaces, making it suitable for terraces and events.

Maintenance involves monthly descaling of the water reservoir and evaporator with a food-safe solution to prevent mineral deposits. The stainless-steel exterior wipes clean easily, and the transparent lid removes for access to the storage container. No internal filters or pumps need replacement, reducing upkeep time.

Two cooling options are offered: air-cooled, which is simpler to install, and water-cooled (Article 51341U), which operates more quietly and efficiently in hot or poorly ventilated kitchens.
