ICE TECH SC SPLIT ice makers produce dry ice flakes. The ice has an attractive appearance — the flat flakes overlap and slide over each other, ensuring long-lasting cooling. This type of ice is suitable for a wide range of applications: fishing industry, seaports, fish wholesale and markets, supermarkets, fishmongers, butchers, bakeries, pastry shops, retail markets, and construction.
ICE TECH SC SPLIT ice makers must be connected to a central refrigeration system or remote condensing unit. For operation, the installer will require a KVP valve, which is not included.

The ICE TECH SC10TN SPLIT is an ice maker designed for high-volume production. This unit, article 50016, is capable of producing 10000 kg of ice within a 24-hour period.
This ice maker operates on the principle of a static cylinder combined with a milling mechanism. Ice forms on the inner surface of the cylinder, and a rotating milling cutter then scrapes the ice off as it forms. This method produces cold and dry flat ice flakes. The thickness of these flakes can be adjusted, ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm, allowing for customisation based on application.
The SC Split version is engineered as an industrial solution. It is designed to be connected to an external refrigeration unit or a building's central cooling system, separating the ice-making components from the refrigeration machinery. This configuration results in a minimal noise level within the immediate working area and significantly reduces heat emission into the room, contributing to a more comfortable environment. The construction of the unit is lighter and more compact compared to integrated systems.
This ice maker is suitable for applications requiring substantial ice production and stable operation in demanding professional settings. The system requires a professional refrigeration connection and a KVP valve for proper integration.
Key components include an energy-saving evaporator, an electronic stop system, and an electrical control panel for operation. It features a direct-drive gear motor for power transmission, a magnetic water pump, and a low water level safety device. The unit is built with a stainless steel base and incorporates sensors for water level monitoring, motor overload protection, and full bin detection.
The ice exit has a diameter of 480 mm. The unit's dimensions are 1850 mm in length, 1150 mm in width, and 1830 mm in height. It operates on a 230 V supply with a 1-phase connection and has a power consumption of 55 kW. The total weight of the unit is 10000 kg.
Cleaning and upkeep would involve maintaining the static cylinder and milling mechanism, as well as the various sensors and the water system, following the manufacturer's guidelines for stainless steel components and electronic controls.
This model is listed in the catalogue under ice generators and specifically for ice generator split applications.
