SS series ice makers stand out with their compact and durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction, reliable operation, and clean, crystal-clear ice cubes specially suited for professional beverage service. The series is equipped with a spacious ice storage bin and is available with both air and water cooling systems, allowing adaptation to different working environments.
Cooling system – water or air.
M/L size ice cubes 22/40 g
An ice generator that produces dense, slow-melting cubes by spraying water onto a copper evaporator. The evaporator freezes the water in thin layers, building each cube from the inside out. This method removes air and impurities, giving the ice its crystal-clear appearance and extended shape retention in drinks. The operator fills the internal reservoir, selects the cube size (medium 22 g or large 40 g), and starts the unit with the external On/Off switch. A timer and thermostat regulate the freezing cycle, automatically releasing the cubes into the 15 kg storage container once they reach the set weight. The machine continues producing ice until the container is full or the operator stops it. The cabinet is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. R290 refrigerant circulates through the copper evaporator to chill water droplets into slow-melting, crystal-clear cubes that keep drinks cold without diluting them. The cooling system can be configured for air or water cooling; an optional drain pump is available for air-cooled models. The 0.975 kW power rating indicates the load on a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, typical for professional kitchen equipment. The 41 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by two people and positioned on a worktop or under a counter. The footprint of 435 x 605 mm fits into compact spaces while leaving room for ventilation around the sides. Cleaning involves removing the storage container and wiping the interior surfaces with a damp cloth. The evaporator and water distribution system should be descaled periodically to maintain ice clarity and production rate. A water softener and filter are recommended to prevent mineral build-up and extend the life of the components. Two versions are available: air-cooled and water-cooled, with the air-cooled model also offered with an optional drain pump. The machine produces either medium 22 g or large 40 g cubes, selected at the time of order. The catalogue places this model in the professional ice production section, suitable for bars, restaurants, hotels and event services where a continuous supply of visually attractive ice is required.
