Banquet cabinet belongs to the group of professional appliances used in gastronomy. It allows you to improve the distribution of meals from the kitchen to the dining room in the right conditions.
This banquet cabinet is made of the highest quality stainless steel. Thanks to this, it is possible to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and durability.
A refrigerated cabinet built for banquet service keeps large quantities of plated dishes chilled without drying or cross-tainting. Inside, a monoblock cooling unit draws heat from the air and expels it at the rear. A forced-air fan system circulates the cooled air evenly across every shelf, so every tray is held at the same temperature. The fan pauses when the door opens, cutting cold loss and saving energy.
The operator loads GN2/1 gastronorm trays onto the removable rails. Each shelf adjusts in 50 mm steps, allowing either 46 shallow trays of 40 mm depth or 24 deeper trays of 65 mm. The digital controller is set between +1 °C and +10 °C; the display shows the current temperature. Automatic defrost cycles clear ice from the evaporator, or the operator can start a manual defrost when the cabinet is empty.
The casing is stainless steel throughout. Polyurethane insulation 60 mm thick reduces heat gain and keeps the exterior cool to the touch. Removable magnetic door gaskets and self-closing hinges seal the cabinet when not in use. The door swings open 180° and locks for security. Ten sets of guides hold the rails in place; each guide can be lifted out for cleaning. The condenser fan switch stops the fan when the door is opened, reducing cold loss.
A power rating of 0.33 kW indicates a light load on a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens. The footprint of 1563 × 870 mm fits through standard doorways and leaves space for service aisles. Four 100 mm castors, two with brakes, allow the cabinet to be moved for cleaning or reorganisation. Top corner bumpers protect walls and adjacent equipment from damage during repositioning.
Cleaning is straightforward: rails, guides and door gaskets remove without tools. The interior and exterior stainless steel surfaces wipe clean with standard kitchen sanitiser. Defrosting is managed automatically, but a manual cycle can be run when the cabinet is empty to clear any residual ice.
The BC01-156GV is a double-door model designed for high-volume banquet service. It is listed in the BHS-G refrigeration catalogue under banquet and holding equipment.
