Banquet cabinet belongs to the group of professional appliances used in gastronomy. It allows you to improve the distribution of meals from the kitchen to the dining room in the right conditions.
This banquet cabinet is made of the highest quality stainless steel. Thanks to this, it is possible to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and durability.
A refrigerated cabinet built for banquet service keeps large quantities of plated dishes chilled until the moment they are served. Instead of relying on ice or a walk-in cold room, the unit circulates cold air continuously around every tray. A fan draws air across an evaporator coil, lowering its temperature, then pushes it evenly through the interior. This forced-air system eliminates hot spots and ensures every dish stays within the safe holding range without freezing or drying out.
The operator loads the trays onto the adjustable guide rails, closes the door and sets the desired temperature on the digital panel. When the door is opened, a sensor switches off the condenser fan to reduce cold loss; the fan restarts automatically when the door closes. The cabinet can be set for automatic defrost cycles or switched to manual defrost when the kitchen schedule allows. A self-closing hinge and magnetic gasket keep the cold air sealed inside, while the 180° door swing gives full access to the shelves.
The exterior and interior are constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability. Removable rail supports and a magnetic door gasket simplify daily cleaning. The 60 mm polyurethane insulation reduces energy consumption, and the ecological R290 refrigerant complies with current environmental regulations. Four 100 mm castors—two with brakes—allow the cabinet to be moved easily across the kitchen floor, while top corner bumpers protect walls and worktops from damage.
The cabinet holds 23 GN2/1 trays at 40 mm depth or 12 at 65 mm depth, giving flexibility for different menu items. The 0.22 kW power rating means it can be connected to a standard 230 V single-phase circuit without overloading the supply. The footprint of 744 × 930 mm fits through standard doorways and leaves room for workflow around the unit. The temperature range of +1 to +10 °C is designed for holding chilled food safely, not for freezing or blast-chilling.
Cleaning involves removing the rail supports and wiping down the stainless-steel surfaces with a mild detergent. The magnetic door gasket can be lifted off for thorough cleaning. Defrosting is managed either automatically or manually, depending on the setting chosen. The cabinet is supplied with ten sets of guides to accommodate different tray configurations.
