Electric boiling pan does not need a specialized installation and ventilation.
Pan is made with the utmost care using high quality materials.
A 300 litre electric boiling pot heats water in a sealed jacket that surrounds the cooking tank, transferring heat evenly without direct contact between the elements and the food. The jacket fills automatically from the mains, maintaining a steady working pressure that raises the boiling point and speeds up cooking. A safety valve releases excess pressure, while a pressure gauge lets the operator monitor the jacket at a glance. The polished AISI 316 stainless steel tank bottom spreads heat quickly and resists sticking, so batches cook uniformly and cleaning takes less effort.
To start, the operator connects the cold and hot water taps to the mains and the treated-water inlet to a softened supply. The unit stands on adjustable stainless steel legs that level the pot on uneven floors. Once the jacket is filled to the correct level—shown on an electronic indicator—the heating elements switch on, warming the water in the jacket. Food is loaded through the pressed lid, which balances on a hinge to stay open without support. A marked line inside the tank shows the maximum fill level, preventing boil-over. The operator sets the desired food temperature on the control panel, and the pot holds that temperature until the batch is finished.
The body and jacket are made of high-quality stainless steel, while the heating elements are sheathed in INCOLOY 800 for long life under constant heat. A 2-inch drain valve empties the tank quickly, and a separate water tap fills the cooking vessel without opening the lid. Thermal protection cuts power if the jacket overheats, and electrochemical protection slows corrosion inside the water jacket. A high chimney vents steam away from the worktop, keeping the surrounding area dry. The worktop itself has a 30 mm drain outlet to carry away spills, and the whole unit is rated IPX4 to resist splashes from any direction.
Controls include a pressure gauge for the jacket, an electronic water-level indicator with alarm, a food-temperature adjustment, and a safety valve that opens at 0.5 bar. The cold and hot water connections are G½-inch taps, while the treated-water inlet is G¾-inch. The 36.2 kW power rating draws a heavy load, so the pot is wired to a three-phase 400 V circuit with a neutral and earth. The 1200 mm width and 1300 mm depth fit a standard worktop space, while the 900 mm base height and 1934 mm overall height allow comfortable loading and lid operation.
Cleaning involves draining the tank through the 2-inch valve, wiping the polished interior, and flushing the jacket through the drain tap. The electronic water-level sensor needs no calibration, but the jacket should be checked periodically for scale if the water is hard. The INCOLOY elements require no special maintenance beyond keeping the jacket full to cover them.
A manual-fill version of the same pot is available under article GK112000-100JN for kitchens without a treated-water supply. The pot is listed in the BHS-G catalogue under boiling and simmering equipment for large-scale catering.
