A stainless steel drainage channel collects and directs wastewater from floors in professional kitchens, wash-down areas and food preparation zones. The channel sits level with the surrounding floor, creating a continuous slope that carries liquid towards a central outlet. A built-in siphon traps odours and prevents sewer gases from rising back into the workspace, while the smooth welded body prevents leaks and simplifies cleaning.

The channel is installed during floor construction. Levelling pins on the side walls ensure the unit sits flush with the finished floor surface. Once the channel is positioned, the surrounding screed or tile bed is laid, locking the channel in place. Different edge profiles match the chosen floor finish—standard, vinyl or tile—so the transition between channel and floor remains seamless and safe underfoot. A DN100 outlet pipe connects directly to the building's drainage system, allowing wastewater to flow away without pooling.

To use the channel, the operator simply sweeps or hoses liquid across the floor; the sloped base guides it into the channel and towards the siphon. Optional mesh gratings cover the channel opening, preventing debris from entering while still allowing water to pass through. Gratings are available in smooth or anti-slip finishes and different mesh sizes to suit the specific hygiene and safety needs of the area.

The channel is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, welded into a single hermetic unit. Steel thickness ranges from 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm, providing strength without excessive weight. The flat base slopes gently towards the central outlet, ensuring consistent drainage without standing water. Side walls include levelling pins for precise alignment during installation.

Controls are limited to the physical installation: the channel is set in place, connected to the drainage pipe, and covered with the chosen grating. No electrical or mechanical adjustments are required during operation.

The 600 mm length and 300 mm width create a compact footprint suitable for tight spaces, while the central siphon keeps the outlet accessible for maintenance. The unit's weight is determined by the steel thickness, making it manageable for installation without heavy lifting equipment. The DN100 outlet pipe diameter ensures compatibility with standard drainage systems, avoiding the need for adapters.

Cleaning involves removing the grating and flushing the channel with water to clear debris. The smooth welded interior prevents dirt from accumulating in seams, and the stainless steel resists corrosion from water and cleaning chemicals. The siphon should be checked periodically to ensure it remains free of blockages and maintains an effective seal.

The channel is available in custom sizes on request. Edge profiles can be specified for standard, vinyl or tiled floors, and gratings are offered in smooth or anti-slip finishes with varying mesh sizes.
