Automatic machine with programmable dosage. With 2 groups. Electronic model
- : Magister Sistema Caffe
- Article number: BHS-STILO-HRC-ES100
A two-group espresso machine delivers consistent shots across two brew heads, allowing baristas to serve multiple customers simultaneously without queuing. The machine heats water in an insulated boiler using an electric element, maintaining the temperature required for espresso extraction. A built-in volumetric pump draws water from the boiler and pushes it through the coffee puck at controlled pressure, while a balanced by-pass system ensures the flow rate stays steady even when both groups are in use. This method produces the crema and body expected in professional espresso without manual adjustment between shots.
To operate, the barista places a portafilter into each group head, locks it in place, and selects a pre-programmed dose using the touch pads. The pads, illuminated by red LEDs, offer four preset volumes per group plus continuous brewing for larger drinks. Once the dose is set, the machine dispenses the exact quantity of water at the correct temperature and pressure. While the espresso extracts, the operator can use the dual steam wands to texture milk for cappuccinos or lattes, or draw hot water from the dispenser for teas and Americanos. The auto-fill system monitors the boiler level and refills it automatically, preventing interruptions during service.
The machine is constructed with an 11-litre stainless-steel boiler and a frame sized at 795 mm wide, 535 mm deep and 500 mm high, fitting beneath standard worktop overhangs. Its 68 kg weight provides stability during operation, reducing movement when portafilters are locked in or steam wands are used. The 4.2 kW power rating requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling the load of simultaneous brewing and steaming, typical in busy cafés. A voltage range of 220 to 240 V matches the supply used in most commercial kitchens, eliminating the need for transformers or voltage converters.
Controls include volumetric touch pads for each group, allowing baristas to programme and recall four shot volumes per group. Red LED displays show the selected dose, providing clear feedback in low-light environments. The two steam wands are independently operated, enabling two baristas to work at once without waiting. The hot water dispenser delivers water at a temperature suitable for teas and infusions, expanding the machine's use beyond espresso-based drinks.
Cleaning involves daily purging of the steam wands to prevent milk residue build-up and regular backflushing of the brew groups to remove coffee oils. The auto-fill system reduces the need for manual water top-ups, but the boiler should be descaled periodically to maintain heat transfer efficiency. The touch pads and LED displays can be wiped with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface.
The HRC ES100 is available in electronic and semi-electronic versions, offering flexibility in control complexity to suit different café workflows. It is categorised under professional espresso equipment for commercial kitchens and high-volume service environments.
