Automatic machine with volumetric dosage. With 2 groups. Electric model
- : Magister Sistema Caffe
- Article number: BHS-DELTA-ES-2G
A two-group espresso machine heats water in an 11-litre pressurised boiler, then forces it through compacted coffee grounds at high pressure. The boiler's electric element maintains a steady temperature, while a volumetric pump delivers the exact water volume for each shot. This pressure-driven extraction dissolves the coffee's oils and flavours quickly, producing a rich, aromatic espresso with a golden crema.
The operator loads the portafilter with ground coffee, tamps it firmly, and locks it into one of the two brew groups. A touch panel offers four preset doses per group, plus a continuous-pour button for longer drinks. After selecting the dose, the machine pre-infuses the coffee with a short burst of water to saturate the grounds evenly, then ramps up to full pressure. While the espresso flows, the second group can be used simultaneously, and either of the two steam wands can froth milk for cappuccinos or lattes. A separate hot-water dispenser delivers measured volumes for tea or Americanos, with the delivery time adjustable on the panel.
The body is constructed from stainless steel, with moulded polyurethane side panels framed in stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. A built-in volumetric pump includes a balanced by-pass to stabilise water flow, while an electronic boiler-temperature control allows fine adjustment through the touch pad. The machine's switching power unit smooths voltage fluctuations, protecting the electronics and maintaining consistent performance during peak service.
Each of the two groups is controlled by a white LED back-lit touch panel featuring six keys and custom Magister graphics. LED indicators show the machine's status, and additional LED lights illuminate the working area for precision during low-light conditions. The steam wands are stainless steel with rubber grips and cool-touch Teflon inserts to prevent burns, while the portafilters use Magister OEM handles with insulated grips for safety and comfort.
An 11-litre boiler provides sufficient capacity for continuous service in busy cafés, reducing the need for frequent refills. The 4.5 kW power rating requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling high electrical loads, typical for professional coffee equipment. At 68 kg, the machine is heavy enough to remain stable on a worktop but can be moved with a trolley if needed. Its footprint of 830 mm wide, 535 mm deep and 500 mm high fits standard worktops, leaving room for cups and accessories alongside.
The machine offers programmable, self-learning doses, allowing baristas to adjust shot volumes to match customer preferences. Electronic pre-infusion can be toggled on or off via the touch panels, giving control over extraction quality. A water mixer ensures consistent temperature for hot-water delivery, while a boiler-level control and self-engaging heating element prevent dry firing and maintain efficiency.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces daily to remove coffee residue and milk splashes. The steam wands should be purged after each use to clear milk build-up, and the portafilters and baskets require regular rinsing. The touch panels can be cleaned with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the LED displays.
The DELTA ES is available in electric and semi-electronic configurations, as well as three sizes: standard, Tall-Cup and High Group, accommodating different counter heights and cup sizes. The two-group model is designed for medium to high-volume environments such as cafés, restaurants and catering kitchens.
