Automatic machine with volumetric dosage. With 3 groups. Electric model
- : Magister Sistema Caffe
- Article number: BHS-DELTA-ES-3G
A three-group espresso machine built for continuous service in busy cafés and restaurants. The DELTA ES distributes water from a single 17 L boiler to three independent brew groups, allowing baristas to pull multiple shots simultaneously without waiting for the boiler to recover.
The machine heats water in a pressurised boiler, raising it to the temperature and pressure needed for espresso extraction. A volumetric pump draws the water and sends it through a balanced by-pass system, ensuring each shot receives the same flow rate regardless of how many groups are active. Pre-infusion softens the coffee puck before full pressure is applied, reducing channeling and improving extraction consistency. The boiler's heating element is self-engaging and controlled electronically, maintaining the set temperature even during peak demand.
To operate, the barista selects a pre-programmed dose on the touch panel or holds the continuous brewing button for free-pouring. The machine delivers hot water separately through a time-settable dispenser, while two steam wands allow simultaneous milk frothing. LED back-lit panels display the chosen settings and machine status, and working-area lights illuminate the drip tray and cup warming surface.
The body is constructed from stainless steel, with moulded polyurethane side panels mounted on a stainless-steel frame. Porta-filters feature Magister OEM handles with cool-touch grips, and steam wands are stainless steel with rubber grips and Teflon inserts for heat resistance. A water mixer blends incoming water to stabilise temperature, and a switching power unit protects against voltage fluctuations.
Controls are grouped on six-key touch panels, each back-lit in white LED. Operators can programme four volumetric doses per group, adjust boiler temperature, enable or disable pre-infusion, and set hot-water delivery times. LED indicators show when the machine is ready, when doses are being dispensed, and when the boiler requires refilling.
The 5.4 kW power rating reflects the load on the electrical circuit, requiring a dedicated 220/240 V supply. The 88 kg weight indicates the machine is floor-standing and not intended for frequent relocation. Its 1070 mm width accommodates three groups side by side, while the 500 mm depth fits standard worktops without overhang.
Cleaning involves daily purging of the steam wands, back-flushing the groups with a blind basket, and wiping down the stainless-steel surfaces. The boiler's level sensor triggers a refill alert, and the touch panels allow operators to enter a cleaning programme that flushes the system without manual intervention.
The DELTA ES is available in electric and semi-electric versions, and in three height configurations: standard, Tall-Cup for larger mugs, and High Group for elevated work surfaces.
This model is categorised under professional espresso machines in the Magister Sistema Caffe range.
