Construction made of stainless steel
A bar cooler keeps bottled and canned drinks at serving temperature without ice, using a refrigeration cycle that removes heat from the interior and expels it into the kitchen. Forced air moves across the evaporator, cooling the air inside the cabinet quickly and evenly. The compressor raises the pressure of the refrigerant, which then condenses in the condenser, releasing the absorbed heat. This cycle repeats continuously, maintaining the set temperature range while the ambient air outside stays up to 30 °C.
The operator loads bottles and cans onto the shelves, closes the two glass doors and sets the desired temperature on the digital control panel. The display shows the current temperature, and the cooler runs automatically, switching the compressor and fans on and off as needed. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the contents, making selection easy without opening the doors. When the cooler reaches the set temperature, it holds it steadily, ready for service.
The cabinet is constructed from polyurethane-insulated panels 35 to 50 mm thick, reducing heat transfer and keeping the interior cool. The refrigeration unit slides out on rails for maintenance, and the compressor compartment has its own door for quick access to the condenser. An anti-corrosion coating on the evaporator protects against moisture, and automatic drip evaporation prevents water build-up. The cooler uses ecological refrigerant R290, which has a low environmental impact.
The digital control panel sets the temperature between 2 °C and 16 °C, covering the range needed for beers, soft drinks and mixers. The 0.45 kW power rating indicates the load on the electrical circuit, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase supply. The 172 litre volume provides space for a typical bar stock of bottles and cans, while the 1451 x 522 x 850 mm footprint fits under most worktops or against a wall. The removable base slides allow the unit to be positioned on uneven floors, and the magnetic seal can be taken off for cleaning.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass doors and interior shelves with a damp cloth, removing the magnetic seal to wash it separately, and pulling out the refrigeration unit to clean the condenser and evaporator. The slide-out design simplifies access, and the automatic defrost function reduces manual upkeep. The cooler is designed for continuous operation in a professional bar setting, with components organised for easy maintenance and long service life.
This model is a bar cooler with two glass doors and LED lighting, placed in the refrigeration section for front-of-house beverage storage.
