The small dimensions of the unit allow to place it under the working top
A refrigeration system removes heat from the insulated cabinet, while a compressor circulates refrigerant through an internal evaporator coil. Polyurethane insulation between the inner and outer walls minimises heat transfer, ensuring efficient operation even in warm environments like bars or kitchens.
Two full-width drawers provide easy access to stock, sliding out smoothly on runners. LED lighting activates when a drawer or door is opened, ensuring contents remain visible in low-light conditions. A digital controller on the front panel allows temperature adjustment, with the current setting displayed for quick reference.
The unit operates on a 230 V single-phase supply. Once connected, the compressor starts, and the evaporator coil cools the cabinet. Bottles and cans are stored in the drawers, which seal when closed to maintain the internal temperature. The cooler regulates the environment automatically, cycling the compressor as needed.
The exterior and interior are made from stainless steel, offering durability and resistance to corrosion in damp settings. An anti-corrosion coating on the evaporator coil prolongs its lifespan, while automatic drip-water evaporation prevents excess moisture build-up. The condenser can be defrosted either automatically or manually, depending on ambient humidity.
With a 0.3 kW power rating, the unit is designed for standard electrical circuits. The adjustable temperature range of +2 to +16 °C suits chilled soft drinks, beers, and white wines but does not support freezing or storage below 2 °C. The 69 litre capacity allows organised storage in two drawers, while the compact dimensions of 600 by 577 mm ensure it fits beneath most bar counters. The 845 mm height aligns with standard worktop levels.
Maintenance involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Drawers can be removed for deeper cleaning, and the drip tray beneath the evaporator should be checked regularly to prevent blockages. The LED lighting requires no bulb replacements, reducing long-term upkeep.
