Salad bar KASIA 1.9 1950mm, temperature mode - +2/ +8 ºC
A refrigerated salad bar keeps prepared salads, fruits and chilled dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers under glass. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally from a concealed evaporator coil; the air settles in the display cavity, maintaining an even chill without a fan. This method avoids drying the food and keeps the glass free from condensation, so the display stays clear and the produce looks fresh for hours.
The operator loads gastronorm containers into the stainless-steel wells, sets the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between 2 °C and 8 °C, and switches the unit on. A digital display shows the current temperature; an alarm sounds if the condenser becomes blocked or the fan fails. Curved front glass slides open for restocking, and a plexiglass night blind can be pulled down to cover the display when the kitchen closes. Optional LED lighting in white, pastry or meat tones illuminates the produce, drawing customers to the bar.
The outer body is coated steel in a choice of colours, insulated with ecological polyurethane foam. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass, and the work surface is stainless steel. An automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up on the evaporator, and a condensate drain directs meltwater to a container at the rear.
The 230 V supply connects to a standard single-phase kitchen circuit. The 0.333 kW power rating keeps the electrical load low, leaving capacity for other equipment on the same circuit. The 1950 mm length fits a standard worktop run, while the 765 mm depth allows customers to reach the back row of containers without stretching. The 1190 mm overall height keeps the display at eye level for most adults, and the 10 mm adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel wells and work surface with a damp cloth, removing the curved glass panel for thorough washing, and rinsing the condensate container. The night blind and LED lamps can be detached for cleaning or replacement without tools.
Available finishes include coated steel in various colours, anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver, and LED lighting in white, pastry or meat tones.
