Salad bar GASTROLINE PREMIUM 1.0 1040mm, temperature mode - +2/ +8 ºC
A refrigerated salad bar keeps fresh produce chilled while presenting it to customers without opening a door. The internal cooling unit draws heat from the display area and circulates cold air through ventilated ducts. This dynamic cooling maintains an even temperature across every shelf, preventing warm spots that could spoil leafy greens or sliced fruit. An automatic defrost cycle runs only when the compressor is off, so the unit never interrupts service to clear ice. Condensation evaporates on its own, removing the need for manual draining and keeping the worktop dry throughout the day.
The operator loads the granite worktop with whole fruits, salad bowls or pre-portioned containers. A straight front glass rises from the worktop, shielding the produce while keeping it fully visible. LED lighting inside the cabinet highlights colours and textures, drawing customers to the display. The hinged rear door opens for restocking, and the frame is prepared for standard gastronorm containers, so ingredients can be organised in the sizes the kitchen already uses.
The outer casing is powder-coated steel for durability in a busy service area. The front panel and sides are melamine, resisting scratches and stains from passing trays. Inside, the display area is stainless steel, while the storage zone beneath is lined with food-safe plastic. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation keeps the cold in and the noise down. Two AC fans distribute air evenly, and a sound signal alerts staff when the condenser needs cleaning, preventing overheating and extending the life of the unit.
The 1040 mm width fits a standard worktop run, leaving room for adjacent prep stations or hot counters. A 0.688 kW power rating means the unit can share a circuit with other light-duty appliances without overloading the supply. The 230 V voltage matches the standard single-phase outlets found in professional kitchens, so no special wiring is required. The granite worktop provides a solid, heat-resistant surface for arranging produce, while the glass top keeps the display hygienic and easy to wipe down.
Cleaning follows the materials: the stainless steel display area and melamine panels wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The condenser should be vacuumed every few weeks to remove dust, and the sound signal will prompt staff when it is time. The automatic defrost and condensation systems eliminate daily maintenance, so the only regular task is restocking and surface cleaning.
