Volumetric/ Salt/ 3.5 L Resin
All ice machines and hospitality business
Hard water leaves limescale in combi ovens, boilers, coffee machines and steamers, shortening their working life and raising energy costs. A minerals remover treats the incoming water supply by exchanging calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions, so the water that reaches the equipment carries no scale-forming minerals. The operator connects the unit to the mains water line before the first appliance that needs protection. Water flows through a bed of resin beads charged with sodium. As the water passes, the calcium and magnesium bind to the resin and sodium is released into the water. The treated water continues to the kitchen equipment, leaving no mineral deposits inside pipes, heating elements or boilers. Installation is a single connection to the water supply, followed by a regeneration cycle that charges the resin with sodium. Once installed, the unit runs automatically: water flows through the resin bed whenever a tap or appliance is opened downstream. The resin gradually loses its sodium charge and must be regenerated at intervals; the unit signals when regeneration is due and runs the cycle overnight, flushing the resin with brine and restoring its capacity. The body is built for continuous use in a professional kitchen environment. Cleaning is limited to checking the brine tank level and topping up with salt tablets when the unit signals. The sealed canister lets you swap out spent media without shutting down the water line or touching internal parts. The Minerals Remover C4 is catalogued under water treatment for commercial catering equipment.
