Ice machines up to 120 kg/24h+ CD &GR
A minerals and chlorine filter treats water before it enters ice machines, beverage dispensers or combi ovens. The filter contains a replaceable cartridge packed with activated carbon and a sediment mesh. Chlorine molecules bind to the carbon, removing taste and odour, while the mesh traps particles down to the stated micron rating. This process prevents scale build-up in boilers and ice makers, and keeps drinks free from chemical aftertaste.
The operator installs the filter in-line on the water supply. A bracket secures the housing to the wall or cupboard back, and flexible hoses connect to the inlet and outlet. Once fitted, the filter runs continuously, treating every litre of water that passes through. There are no controls to set; the flow rate is determined by the appliance it serves.
The CS101 housing is made of food-grade plastic, and the cartridge inside is rated at 5 microns. This rating means the filter captures particles larger than five thousandths of a millimetre, including fine sediment and some mineral crystals.
The 5-micron rating ensures water clarity and reduces the risk of clogged nozzles in coffee machines or ice makers. The filter is a single-cartridge unit, designed for straightforward replacement when the flow slows or the taste changes.
Cleaning is limited to swapping the cartridge. The housing itself requires no maintenance beyond checking the seals for wear when the cartridge is changed.
The CS101 is listed in the ICE TECH water-treatment catalogue under filters for professional catering equipment.
