Water from the mains enters a refrigerated evaporator plate, freezes, and drops into an internal storage bin. Refrigerant R290 circulates within a closed loop, extracting heat from the water and discharging it either into the air or, if specified, into a water circuit. The process repeats automatically, replenishing the bin as long as power and water remain connected.

Installation requires only a standard 230 V outlet and a water connection. The machine starts freezing immediately without manual priming. A clear lid allows staff to check ice levels without lifting it. Once the 20 kg bin is full, production pauses until ice is removed, then restarts automatically. Cubes tumble out in a continuous flow, ready for scooping into drinks or display trays.

The exterior is stainless steel over a galvanised frame. Copper evaporator plates and refrigerant lines ensure efficient heat transfer. An air-cooled condenser is standard; a water-cooled alternative is offered separately. A small condensate pump handles drainage on the air-cooled model. The 535 mm width and 595 mm depth allow placement on a worktop or low cabinet, while the 789 mm height fits beneath most shelves.

Controls consist of a single power switch and a status light. The 1.007 kW rating indicates the electrical load; a dedicated socket is advised. At 48 kg, the unit can be moved by two people or transported on a trolley.

Maintenance involves emptying the bin, wiping the interior with mild sanitiser, and brushing the evaporator plate to remove scale. Air-cooled condenser fins should be vacuumed monthly to maintain airflow. If the water-cooled option is chosen, the external circuit requires periodic flushing to prevent mineral deposits.

Two cooling methods are available: the standard air-cooled version with built-in condensate pump, and a water-cooled variant that uses an external water circuit.
