The ICE TECH GN series ice maker produces natural-shaped flake ice, which is an optimal solution for maintaining product freshness over a longer period. It is suitable for a wide range of applications – from fresh food display in supermarkets and restaurants to seafood storage, as well as use in laboratories, healthcare, and other industries.

Granular Ice
Granular ice forms when water is sprayed onto a cold evaporator, freezing into small, soft nuggets that cling to food without crushing or drying it. This method preserves moisture and texture, making it suitable for displaying seafood, chilling salads or keeping buffet items fresh without waterlogging them. The ICE TECH CDN 95 ice maker follows this principle: water circulates over a copper evaporator, freezing layer by layer into granular ice. The ice drops into a 20 kg storage container, ready for use. A thermostat regulates the evaporator temperature, while a timer controls the production cycle, allowing the operator to match output to demand. To operate the unit, connect the water supply within the specified pressure range, plug into a 230 V single-phase circuit and switch on using the external On/Off control. The machine begins producing ice automatically, filling the container until it reaches capacity. The operator removes ice as needed, and the machine resumes production to maintain the set level. The cabinet is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance and compliance with food hygiene standards. High-density insulation surrounds the evaporator and storage area, reducing energy consumption and stabilising internal temperatures. The R290 refrigerant chills the copper evaporator rapidly, creating dense nugget ice that resists melting on seafood or salad bars. Controls include an On/Off switch for immediate power control, a thermostat to set the freezing temperature and a timer to programme production cycles. These allow the operator to adjust the machine to ambient conditions and workload. A production rate of 95 kg per 24 hours means the unit can supply a busy kitchen or display counter throughout service. The 20 kg container holds enough ice for several hours, reducing the need for frequent emptying. A power rating of 0.470 kW indicates a modest load on the electrical supply, suitable for standard commercial circuits. The machine weighs 58 kg, making it manageable for two people to move and position. Its footprint of 465 mm wide, 595 mm deep and 790 mm high fits under most worktops or on a sturdy shelf, taking minimal floor space in a professional kitchen. For optimal performance, the manufacturer recommends using a water softener and filter to prevent scale build-up and ensure clear ice. Regular cleaning of the evaporator and water distribution system maintains efficiency and ice quality. The CDN 95 is designed for ambient air temperatures between +10 °C and +43 °C and water temperatures between +5 °C and +38 °C. Water pressure must be between 0.7 and 6 bar to ensure proper flow and freezing. This model is categorised under professional ice makers for catering and food service applications.
