Ice-cream showcase INNOVA DEEP ICE. Temperature range -20ºC/-10ºC
A display freezer keeps frozen goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The refrigeration unit draws heat from the interior and expels it at the rear, creating a cold zone that preserves food without drying it. Dynamic cooling circulates the cold air evenly, preventing hot spots and ensuring every shelf reaches the set temperature. Automatic defrosting removes ice build-up without manual intervention, keeping the unit running efficiently.
The INNOVA DEEP ICE 1400 mm model is loaded from the front. The operator pulls the entire front panel forward on a sliding mechanism, unlocking it with an electromagnetic catch. This exposes the full interior for stocking or cleaning. Once loaded, the panel is pushed back into place, sealing the cabinet. The electronic controller is set to the desired temperature between -20 °C and -10 °C, and the unit maintains that range automatically. A digital display shows the current temperature, while an integrated logger records fluctuations for later review. If the condenser or fan fails, an alarm sounds to alert staff.
The cabinet is built around a stainless-steel interior that resists corrosion and is easy to sanitise. The worktop is also stainless steel, providing a durable surface for preparation or service. Exterior glass panels are double-glazed with argon gas fill, reducing condensation and improving insulation. The frame around the glass is available in black, white or grey RAL7042, and wooden trim can be specified in different finishes to match kitchen decor. The base and sides are clad in black-coated steel, while the rear houses the refrigeration unit and condenser. Manual night blinds roll down to cover the glass when the unit is not in service, protecting the contents and saving energy.
LED lighting runs along the front frame, illuminating the display without adding heat. The refrigeration system is compatible with R448 A and R449 A refrigerants, which are standard in professional catering equipment. Condensate evaporates automatically, eliminating the need for manual drainage.
The 0.280 kW power rating indicates a modest electrical load, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase circuit. The 1400 mm width provides ample display space without occupying excessive floor area, while the 1150 mm depth allows for deep storage trays. The 1400 mm height ensures the unit fits under standard worktops or can be used as a standalone island. The temperature range of -20 °C to -10 °C is designed for frozen storage, not blast freezing or chilling.
Cleaning involves pulling out the front panel to access the interior. The stainless-steel surfaces can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitiser. The glass panels are cleaned externally with glass cleaner, while the wooden or coated steel trim is wiped with a damp cloth. The refrigeration unit and condenser require periodic vacuuming to remove dust, ensuring efficient operation.
The INNOVA DEEP ICE 1400 mm is part of the IGLOO professional refrigeration range, positioned as a display freezer for catering and retail environments.
