Ice-cream dispenser GELATO 2 REMOTE 1140 mm, Temperature range -20ºC/-10ºC
An ice-cream dispenser keeps gelato at serving consistency by circulating chilled refrigerant through a closed circuit. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the product and carries it to an external condensing unit, where the heat is expelled. This remote arrangement removes compressor noise and heat from the serving area, leaving only the chilled display visible to customers. Because the refrigerant never touches the food, the system remains hygienic and requires no daily defrosting.
The operator loads each stainless-steel cuvette with up to seven litres of gelato, seals it with the flat insulated lid, and sets the electronic regulator to the desired holding temperature between -20 °C and -10 °C. The digital display shows the current temperature inside the cuvette. Once the set point is reached, the unit maintains it automatically. If the condenser becomes clogged, an audible alarm sounds to prompt cleaning. Adjustable feet allow the cabinet to sit level on uneven floors.
Construction is a stainless-steel frame with polished masking rings around each cuvette. The inner liner and tubes are also stainless steel, while the walls are filled with ecological polyurethane foam for insulation. Access to the condenser is tool-free, and the entire unit can be installed as a free-standing or built-in model.
The 230 V, 50 Hz supply draws 0.104 kW, suitable for a standard single-phase circuit. The footprint of 1140 mm by 600 mm fits behind most counters, and the 740 mm height allows easy reach over the top.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces daily and checking the condenser for dust accumulation. The tool-free access panel simplifies this task. No disassembly of the refrigerant circuit is required.
Variants include free-standing and built-in configurations, both supplied with the same remote condensing unit and digital temperature control.
