Ice-cream dispenser GELATO 2 REMOTE 1400 mm, Temperature range -20ºC/-10ºC
An ice-cream dispenser keeps gelato at serving consistency by circulating chilled refrigerant through a closed loop. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the product and carries it away to an external condensing unit, maintaining the low temperature without exposing the ice cream to air or light. This remote arrangement removes the compressor noise and heat from the counter, leaving only the display and serving area in the front-of-house space.
The operator loads each 7 L stainless-steel cuvette with fresh gelato, seals the flat insulated lid, and sets the electronic regulator to the desired holding temperature between -20 °C and -10 °C. The digital display shows the current temperature, and an audible alarm sounds if the condenser becomes contaminated and needs cleaning. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors.
Construction is a stainless-steel frame with polished masking rings around the cuvettes. Inner tubes and cuvettes are also stainless steel, and the entire cabinet is insulated with ecological polyurethane foam. The condenser is accessed without tools for routine maintenance.
The 230 V, 50 Hz supply draws 0.122 kW, suitable for a standard single-phase circuit. The 1400 mm width provides space for two 200 mm diameter cuvettes side by side, fitting a typical worktop or counter installation. A built-in version is also available, allowing the dispenser to be integrated into custom joinery.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing the lids to clean the cuvettes, and checking the condenser for dust accumulation. The tool-free access panel simplifies this task.
Variants include free-standing and built-in models, both supplied with two 7 L round cuvettes.
