Hot showcase-marmite BEMAR 1000mm. Temperature range +30/+90ºC
A hot display showcase keeps prepared dishes at serving temperature while presenting them through clear glass. The unit circulates warm air around gastronorm containers placed above a heated bain-marie. This ventilated, or dynamic, heating method prevents cold spots and ensures every portion stays evenly warm without drying out. The glass top and front allow customers to see the food while the operator maintains safe holding temperatures ready for plating or self-service.
To use the showcase, the operator loads gastronorm containers into the frame above the bain-marie. The electronic temperature controller is set between 30 °C and 90 °C using the digital display. Once the desired temperature is reached, the internal LED lamp illuminates the dishes, and the ventilated system circulates the warm air continuously. The hinged back doors provide access for restocking or cleaning, while the granite-grey worktop offers a stable surface for plating or additional storage.
The outer casing is constructed from steel, and the front panel is finished in wooden melamine with a stainless steel or mirrored strip, available in various colours. The storage chamber inside is made of white-coated steel and includes an adjustable shelf. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation minimises heat loss, and the worktop measures 800 mm in depth with a thickness of 30 mm. An internal cooling aggregate supports the automatic defrost and condenser vaporisation systems, while an alarm alerts the operator to any condenser impurity or fan failure.
The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches standard UK commercial circuits, allowing straightforward installation in most professional kitchens. The 120 kg weight indicates a sturdy, floor-standing unit that remains stable during service. The 1000 mm width, 800 mm depth, and 1250 mm height provide ample space for multiple gastronorm containers while fitting within typical counter or worktop layouts. The LED lighting consumes less energy than traditional bulbs and produces minimal heat, helping maintain consistent temperatures inside the showcase.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass top and front with a damp cloth, while the hinged back doors allow access to the interior for deeper cleaning. The adjustable shelf and storage chamber can be removed or repositioned as needed. The automatic defrost system reduces manual maintenance, and the alarm system ensures early detection of any operational issues.
The BEMAR G 1000 mm is available with different front panel colours, selected from the IGLOO pattern book. It is designed for use with gastronorm containers, making it compatible with standard professional kitchen equipment. This model is categorised under hot display showcases in the IGLOO GASTROLINE range.
