An island cooler/freezer that switches between chilled and frozen storage with a single control adjustment, letting retail displays adapt to seasonal stock without replacing the unit. The refrigeration system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and keeping products at uniform temperature whether they are ice cream tubs in summer or chilled drinks in winter.

The operator loads the cabinet through sliding glass lids that lift clear of the worktop. Once the products are arranged, the lids close to seal the interior, and the temperature setting is chosen: above freezing for chilled goods or below for frozen. The unit maintains the selected range automatically, with the compressor cycling as needed to remove heat that enters through the glass or when the lids are opened. Strong casters allow the cabinet to be rolled to a new position on the shop floor without emptying it, so the display can follow customer traffic or seasonal promotions.

The cabinet is built on a stainless-steel frame with glass panels on all four sides and matching glass lids. Bumper bars run around the base to protect against trolleys and floor cleaners. Ventilated cooling ducts are concealed beneath the shelves, ensuring an unobstructed view of every product from any angle. The edges of the glass are finished to hold custom branding strips, turning the unit into a branded display without blocking visibility.

Controls consist of a single thermostat that sets the operating range between -24 °C and +5 °C. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 0.661 kW under full load. The 165 L interior volume provides space for multiple product lines, while the 132 kg weight keeps the unit stable on its casters during movement. External dimensions of 1255 mm long, 1015 mm wide and 962 mm high create an island footprint that fits between standard retail gondolas without obstructing aisles.

Cleaning involves wiping the glass panels and lids with a mild detergent, removing any branding strips to reach the edges. The stainless-steel interior and shelves are cleaned with a non-abrasive cloth, and the casters are checked periodically for debris that could impede rolling. The ventilated cooling system requires no manual defrosting; any ice build-up is removed automatically during the compressor's off cycle.
