Bar refrigerator TEFCOLD BA16H

A backbar cooler keeps bottled and canned drinks chilled to serving temperature without ice, using a refrigeration circuit that circulates cold air evenly across every shelf. The fan draws warm air from the cabinet, passes it over an evaporator coil chilled by refrigerant, and returns the cooled air through a grille at the back. This ventilated cooling prevents hot spots and keeps the entire load at the set temperature, ready for immediate service.

The operator loads the drinks onto the two adjustable chrome wire shelves, sets the electronic thermostat between +2 °C and +10 °C, and closes the tempered double-glass door. LED lighting switches on automatically, illuminating the contents while keeping heat output low. A lock secures the cabinet when the bar is unattended. The cooler runs on a standard 220-240 V single-phase supply, drawing 0.095 kW.

The cabinet is constructed from solid materials with an internal volume of 115 L. Two chrome wire shelves, each 495 mm wide and 350 mm deep, support the load. The refrigerant is R600a, charged at 55 g. The unit measures 600 mm wide, 520 mm deep and 870 mm high, and weighs 46 kg, allowing it to stand on a worktop or be moved with a standard sack trolley.

The temperature range of +2 °C to +10 °C suits lagers, soft drinks and mixers; it is not cold enough for frozen products or warm enough for ambient storage. The 115 L volume translates to 161 standard 330 ml cans or 84 full-size 500 ml bottles. The two shelves organise stock by size or brand, and their chrome finish reflects the LED light for clear visibility.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior and shelves with a damp cloth, and vacuuming the rear grille to maintain airflow. The tempered double-glass door can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner without risk of thermal shock.
