Temperature mode +2/ +10 °C
A backbar cooler creates a steady chill zone behind the bar counter, circulating cold air evenly so every bottle and can is ready at the same temperature. The ventilated cooling system draws warm air across an evaporator coil, removing heat before the fan pushes the cooled air back into the cabinet. This continuous loop keeps the interior within a narrow band, preventing hot spots that can spoil drinks or slow service.
The operator loads the shelves through double-glazed glass doors that seal tightly when closed. Four chrome wire shelves slide out for easy stocking; each shelf is sized to hold standard 330 ml or 500 ml cans and bottles without overhang. Once the doors are shut, the electronic thermostat maintains the set point between +2 °C and +10 °C, while an LED interior light lets staff check stock without opening the cabinet. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, and the reversible doors can swing left or right to suit the bar layout.
The cabinet is built around an aluminium-framed glass door assembly that resists condensation and keeps the contents visible. Inside, four chrome-plated wire shelves support the load while allowing air to circulate freely. An energy-saving variable-speed compressor adjusts its output to match the cooling demand, reducing power consumption during quieter periods. The refrigerant charge is R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
The 220-240 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches a standard single-phase kitchen circuit, drawing 0.115 kW under normal operation. The 182 L net volume provides space for up to 276 x 330 ml cans or 143 x 500 ml bottles, making it suitable for medium-volume bars. The 900 mm width fits neatly beneath most bar counters, while the 63 kg weight allows two people to move it without specialist equipment.
Cleaning is straightforward: shelves lift out for washing, and the interior surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth. The glass doors can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner, and the hinges require occasional lubrication to keep the doors swinging smoothly. The electronic thermostat is accessed through a panel on the front, allowing temperature adjustments without tools.
The BA26H is a single model with no variants. It is listed in the bar refrigeration section of the professional catering catalogue.
