A hand blender attachment extends the reach of a commercial immersion blender, allowing the operator to process larger volumes or deeper containers without transferring the contents. The motor unit remains above the vessel while the attachment lowers the blade assembly into the mixture, keeping the hands clear of hot or splashing liquids. This design is particularly useful for blending soups, sauces or batters directly in stock pots, bain-maries or tall mixing bowls where a standard blender shaft would be too short to reach the bottom effectively.
The attachment is fitted to the motor head in place of the standard shaft. Once secured, the operator lowers the 40 cm neck into the container, submerging the blades fully before switching on. The extended length allows the blades to work at the base of deep vessels, ensuring even mixing without the need to tilt or lift the container. When the task is complete, the attachment is removed, cleaned and stored separately.
Constructed from stainless steel, the 40 cm neck resists corrosion and withstands repeated exposure to hot liquids and cleaning chemicals. The smooth surface and seamless joints simplify wiping down after use, reducing the risk of trapped food particles or bacterial growth.
This attachment is designed to fit FIMAR MX40 and FX40 hand blender models.
The 40 cm neck length determines the maximum depth of container the blender can effectively reach. In a professional kitchen, this specification allows the use of standard gastronorm pans, stock pots and mixing bowls without the need to decant or transfer the contents to a shallower vessel.
