| NOTES | motor with speed regulator + 40 cm stick blender + whip |
An immersion blender lets the operator blend, purée or emulsify directly in the cooking vessel, eliminating transfers and reducing cleaning. The motor drives a blade at the end of a long shaft; the shaft is immersed in the liquid, and the blade rotates at high speed, drawing the contents towards it and breaking them into a smooth mixture. Variable speed control adjusts the intensity of the blending action, allowing gentle stirring for fragile sauces or vigorous chopping for coarse salsas without changing tools.
The FX40 is held by its handle, the blending arm lowered into the pot or bowl, and the speed dial set to the desired level. The operator starts the motor with the trigger switch, keeping the arm moving through the mixture to ensure even processing. When the desired consistency is reached, the trigger is released and the arm lifted clear. The 40 cm shaft reaches deep into tall stockpots or narrow containers without splashing.
The unit is built with a stainless steel blending arm and whip attachment, resisting corrosion and withstanding repeated washing. The motor housing is designed for a secure grip, with the speed regulator positioned for easy adjustment while blending.
The 0.4 kW motor draws a moderate load on a standard 230 V circuit, suitable for most professional kitchen setups. The speed range of 2500 to 11000 rpm covers tasks from gentle mixing to rapid chopping, allowing the same tool to handle soups, batters, dressings and coarse chutneys. The overall dimensions of 170 mm by 120 mm by 740 mm (including the 400 mm blending arm) allow storage in a standard utensil drawer or wall-mounted rack.
Cleaning involves rinsing the blending arm and whip immediately after use to prevent food residue hardening. The stainless steel parts can be washed in hot water with detergent or placed in a commercial dishwasher. The motor housing should be wiped with a damp cloth, avoiding immersion to protect the electrical components.
The FX40 is supplied with a whip attachment for whipping cream or egg whites, extending its use beyond blending to light aeration tasks.
