A refrigerated display case designed as an outer corner unit helps arrange chilled goods along customer pathways. The case features a static cooling system with two evaporators, ensuring even temperature distribution without drying out the products. An internal cooling unit, sealed within the cabinet, operates using the refrigerant blend R134 A and R290, maintaining temperatures between +3 and +10 °C without freezing the display.

The electronic controller allows precise temperature settings, while LED lamps—available in white, confectionery, or pink—illuminate the goods through a straight front glass pane. A plexiglass night blind covers the glass when the shop is closed, conserving energy and safeguarding the stock. Inside, a hinged or sliding rear door provides access to the storage chamber, and a sturdy grey granite worktop, 20 mm thick, offers a reliable service surface.

Constructed from white coated sheet metal with a service-side base flashing, the cabinet includes insulated plastic sides and glass panels in a choice of colours. The internal frame and aluminium profiles are anodised in silver or gold, and ecological polyurethane foam insulation enhances thermal efficiency. Automatic defrost cycles keep the evaporators clear, while a gas evaporator removes condensation from the condenser. An alarm alerts users to condenser blockages or fan failures.

With dimensions of 1910 mm by 1910 mm plus 10 mm clearance, the unit fits neatly into corners, enabling continuous runs of SUMBA display cases along walls and around bends. It operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, plugging into a standard single-phase circuit for easy installation in professional kitchens and retail environments.

Maintenance is straightforward: the stainless-steel display area and coated-steel storage chamber can be cleaned with mild detergent, while the granite worktop and glass panels polish easily with a soft cloth. The night blind and LED lamps are removable for separate cleaning, and the anodised aluminium profiles resist corrosion without additional treatment.

The SUMBA NZ outer corner is part of the SUMBA series, which also includes straight modules and internal corners. All units share the same temperature range, cooling method, and construction, allowing them to be combined to create a seamless refrigerated counter tailored to any layout.
