Cold showcase SUMBA REMOTE 1960 mm. Temperature range +3ºC/+10ºC
A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable goods at a steady low temperature while presenting them through clear glass to customers. The unit draws heat from the stored items using evaporators inside the cabinet, then expels that heat outside via an external remote aggregate. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally, avoiding the need for fans that could disturb lightweight packaging or dry out unwrapped products. This method gives even, gentle chilling across every shelf, preserving texture and appearance for meats, cheeses, fish and other fresh foods.
The operator loads the showcase by sliding open the straight front glass pane. Products are placed on the stainless-steel exposition area or inside the white-coated storage chamber behind. The grey granite worktop provides a sturdy surface for slicing or portioning. Once the showcase is filled, the glass is closed and the electronic controller is set to the desired temperature between +3 °C and +10 °C. LED lamps illuminate the contents in white, confectionery or pink light, chosen to enhance the colour of the displayed goods. At closing time, the night blind of plexiglass is pulled down to insulate the cabinet and reduce energy use.
The cabinet body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a service-side base flashing, and the internal frame uses anodised aluminium profiles in silver or gold. Ecological polyurethane foam fills the walls for insulation. A sliding rear door on the storage compartment allows quick access without opening the main display area; in corner modules the door is hinged. Automatic defrost cycles remove ice build-up without manual intervention, and the digital display on the controller shows the current temperature at a glance.
The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches a standard single-phase kitchen circuit, so no special wiring is needed. The footprint of 1960 mm long by 895 mm deep plus a 10 mm tolerance determines the floor space the showcase occupies, while the 1260 mm height fits under most worktop canopies. The static cooling system with two evaporators and the external aggregate keep the internal temperature stable without noise or vibration inside the shop.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel exposition area and the white-coated storage chamber with mild detergent, and polishing the granite worktop. The straight front glass pane can be slightly opened for thorough cleaning, and the LED lamps are accessible from inside the cabinet. The night blind is removed and washed separately.
The SUMBA 2.0 REMOTE is part of a modular series that includes internal and external corners, allowing continuous lines to be built to fit any shop layout. The same series offers a choice of LED colours and anodised aluminium finishes to match shop décor.
This showcase is listed in the professional refrigeration section of the catalogue, under remote-aggregate display units.
