Professional electric range with 6 cast iron hotplates and a neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures long service life, even heat distribution and easy daily cleaning.
An electric range combines a solid worktop with electric hotplates and a built-in storage cabinet beneath. The hotplates convert electrical energy into heat through resistance elements; when the current passes, the elements glow and transfer heat directly to the base of pots and pans. A neutral cabinet below provides enclosed space for utensils, dry goods or warming plates without additional heating.
The operator selects a hotplate, sets the seven-position switch to the desired power level, and places the cookware on the sealed cast iron surface. The temperature limiter prevents overheating by cutting power if the hotplate exceeds a safe threshold. Once cooking is complete, the switch is turned off and the cookware removed. The cabinet beneath is accessed by lifting the hinged worktop or sliding items in and out of the open front.
The range is constructed from 2 mm thick CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish, giving a smooth, corrosion-resistant surface that resists fingerprints and scratches. Rounded edges on the worktop reduce sharp corners, while chrome-plated components add contrast and durability. IPX5-rated water-resistant control knobs allow safe cleaning with a hose without risk of electrical damage. The front control panel lifts away for access to all serviceable parts, simplifying maintenance.
A 15.6 kW power rating indicates the total electrical load the range draws when all hotplates are in use, requiring a three-phase 400 V supply with a neutral connection. The 1200 mm width provides space for multiple pots side by side, while the 705 mm depth fits standard worktop depths in professional kitchens. At 103 kg, the unit is heavy enough to remain stable during use but can be repositioned with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive pads that could damage the satin finish. The cast iron hotplates are cleaned after cooling, using a scraper to remove food debris from the sealed rings. The control knobs can be rinsed under running water, and the removable front panel allows access to internal components for periodic inspection or replacement.
The PCQ-712ET is supplied without doors, leaving the cabinet open for easy access to stored items. Adjustable feet ensure stability on uneven floors, and the absence of doors simplifies cleaning around the base.
