Professional electric range with 6 cast iron hotplates and a neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures long service life, even heat distribution and easy daily cleaning.
An electric range combines a heat source on the worktop with an unheated cupboard below, giving a single unit for cooking and short-term storage. The hotplates heat by conduction: electric elements beneath the cast iron surface transfer heat directly into pots and pans. A seven-position switch on each plate controls the element, adjusting the temperature from a gentle simmer to a rolling boil. The temperature limiter prevents the plate from exceeding its safe operating range, protecting both the appliance and the cookware. To use the range, the operator selects a hotplate with the switch, waits for it to reach the desired temperature, then places the pot or pan on the surface. The cast iron distributes the heat evenly, eliminating hot spots. When cooking is complete, the switch is turned off and the plate cools. Below the worktop, the neutral cabinet provides space for utensils, small containers or ingredients that do not need refrigeration, keeping them within reach during service. The LOTUS PC-712ET is built from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The worktop is 2 mm thick, with rounded edges to reduce the risk of cuts and knocks. Chrome-plated components add contrast and resist corrosion. The control knobs are rated IPX5, meaning they can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction, a feature that simplifies cleaning in a busy kitchen. All serviceable parts are accessible by removing the front control panel, reducing downtime for maintenance. The range requires a 400 V three-phase supply, which is standard in professional kitchens and supports the 15.6 kW power rating. The 1200 mm width provides space for multiple pots and pans, while the 705 mm depth fits standard worktop depths without overhang. At 88 kg, the unit is stable but can be moved with a trolley or two people. Adjustable feet allow the range to be levelled on uneven floors. The satin-finish stainless steel resists fingerprints and grease splatters while the rounded edges let you sweep debris straight into the integrated tray without snagging. The cast iron hotplates should be cleaned after each use to prevent food residue from burning on. The IPX5-rated knobs can be rinsed under a tap, but the control panel should not be submerged. The front panel can be removed for access to internal components, making it easier to clear debris or replace parts. The PC-712ET is supplied without doors, leaving the neutral cabinet open for easy access. It is categorised as a range in the LOTUS professional catering equipment catalogue.
