An electric ceramic range heats a smooth glass-ceramic surface with radiant elements mounted beneath. The elements glow red and transfer heat directly to pots and pans, spreading warmth evenly across the entire cooking area without hot spots. Because the surface stays flat, spills do not run into gaps and burnt-on food is easier to scrape away once the range has cooled.

The operator places cookware on the ceramic top, selects the desired power level with the water-resistant control knobs, and begins cooking. Residual heat indicators light up while the surface is still hot, warning staff to avoid contact and preventing accidental burns. When cooking is finished, the knobs are turned to zero and the elements switch off, but the indicators remain lit until the ceramic has cooled sufficiently.

The construction is 18/10 AISI 304 CrNi stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The 2 mm thick worktop has rounded edges and chrome-plated components for durability and ease of cleaning. The front control panel lifts away to give access to all internal parts, simplifying maintenance and repairs. Adjustable feet allow the unit to sit level on uneven floors.

A 10 kW power rating means the range draws a substantial load and must be connected to a three-phase 400 V supply. The 800 mm width and 705 mm depth set the space it occupies on the worktop or island, while the 900 mm height matches standard under-counter cupboards. At 66 kg, the unit is light enough to be moved by two people but heavy enough to stay stable during vigorous cooking.

Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic surface with a damp cloth once it has cooled, removing the control panel to reach internal components, and rinsing the stainless-steel exterior with mild detergent. The satin finish resists fingerprints and scratches, and the rounded edges prevent dirt from collecting in corners.
