The ceramic glass conducts heat downward only where the pan sits, so the rest of the surface stays cooler and energy is not wasted. Each zone heats up quickly and cools down again once switched off, giving the chef precise control over cooking temperature and timing. To use the hob, place the pan on one of the four marked zones. Turn the IPX5 water-resistant knob to the desired power setting—seven levels are available. A temperature limiter prevents overheating, while a residual heat indicator lights up until the zone is safe to touch. The locking system secures the pan on the tray runners, which have stops to prevent sliding. The adjustable feet let the hob sit flush against the stainless-steel worktop even when the kitchen floor slopes beneath the island or peninsula. The hob is built from 18/10 CrNi stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The 1 mm thick worktop has rounded edges and a splash guard at the rear. Chrome-plated components and cast iron hotplates with steel sealing rings complete the construction. A 6 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase circuit, the standard supply for professional catering equipment. The 600x600 mm footprint fits a standard worktop cut-out, while the 280 mm height allows under-counter cupboard clearance. At 26 kg, the hob can be moved by two people without lifting equipment. Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth glass surface wipes clean with a damp cloth once cool, and the stainless steel splash guard and worktop resist stains and corrosion.
