A dough sheeter flattens and stretches dough by passing it between two rotating rollers. The rollers press the dough evenly, removing air pockets and creating a consistent thickness. This method replaces hand rolling, saving time and ensuring uniformity across large batches of pastry, pizza bases or pasta sheets.
The operator feeds the dough between the rollers, which grip and pull it through. Adjustable gap settings control the thickness of the sheet. Once through, the dough is ready for cutting, shaping or further processing. The motor drives the rollers at a steady speed, preventing tearing or uneven stretching.
The FIMAR Dough Sheeter 320 has a 320 mm roller length, allowing it to handle standard dough batches without overloading. The unit is built on a compact frame measuring 580 mm long, 420 mm wide and 520 mm high, fitting under most worktops or on a dedicated bench. Its 52 kg weight provides stability during operation while still allowing repositioning with a trolley.
The 0.37 kW motor draws a modest load, suitable for standard kitchen circuits. The rollers are the primary working parts, and their length determines the maximum width of dough that can be processed in a single pass.
Cleaning involves removing dough residues from the rollers and frame after each use. The smooth surfaces allow quick wiping, and the gap adjustment mechanism should be checked periodically to ensure it moves freely.
Variants with 420 mm and 520 mm rollers are available, offering wider sheeting capacity for larger dough pieces.
