A freezer-chest stores food at deep-freeze temperatures by holding cold air in an insulated box. Unlike an upright freezer, the chest design traps the cold air inside when the lid is opened, so less energy is lost and the temperature stays steady. The refrigerant R600a circulates through coils or plates inside the walls, pulling heat out of the interior and releasing it outside. This process keeps the inside at the set temperature while the outside stays at room temperature.

To use the FR605S-SL, load the food into the basket or directly onto the white inner liner. Close the stainless steel lid and turn the lock to secure it. Set the desired temperature between -24 °C and -14 °C using the thermostat. The built-in thermometer lets you check the temperature without opening the lid. When defrosting is needed, melt the ice and drain the water through the defrost drain at the base.

The freezer-chest is built with a powder-coated exterior and a white inner liner for durability and easy cleaning. The stainless steel lid resists corrosion and provides a strong seal. A lockable handle keeps the contents secure, while the basket organises smaller items for quick access.
