An ice cream freezer maintains a deep, steady cold that turns liquid mix into scoopable dessert without forming large ice crystals. A compressor circulates refrigerant through evaporator coils inside the insulated cabinet. The coils absorb heat from the stored product, lowering its temperature to the set point. Because the refrigerant boils at a very low temperature, it pulls heat out faster than a standard refrigerator, keeping the texture smooth and creamy even when the shop is busy and the door is opened repeatedly.
To use the IC402SC, plug the unit into a 220-240 V supply and slide the digital thermometer to the desired holding temperature between -24 °C and -14 °C. Load the supplied baskets with tubs or trays, then close the flat sliding glass lids and lock them. The LED interior light lets staff check stock without opening the door, reducing cold loss. When the freezer is full, the castors with brakes allow it to be rolled into position on the shop floor and secured.
The cabinet is finished in white and built from insulated panels that keep the cold in and the ambient heat out. A full set of baskets is included, so the 350 litre net volume can be organised straight away. The refrigerant is R290, which has a low global-warming potential and is efficient at the deep temperatures needed for ice cream.
Controls consist of a digital thermometer that sets and displays the cabinet temperature. The sliding glass lids lock to prevent unauthorised access and to keep the cold air sealed in when the unit is unattended.
A 0.32 kW power rating means the freezer draws a modest load on the electrical circuit, leaving capacity for other equipment on the same supply. The temperature range of -24 °C to -14 °C covers both storage and display of ice cream, sorbet and gelato. A net volume of 350 litres provides enough space for a full menu of flavours in a medium-sized outlet. The 64 kg weight allows two people to move the unit when the castors are unlocked, while the 1300 × 630 mm footprint fits through standard doorways and leaves room for customer traffic in front of the counter.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior surfaces and baskets with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying them to prevent ice build-up. The glass lids should be cleaned regularly to keep the display clear. The castors need occasional lubrication to ensure smooth movement, and the digital thermometer should be checked against a calibrated probe to confirm accuracy.
The IC402SC is a single model with no variants. It is placed in the catalogue under commercial refrigeration for ice cream and frozen desserts.
