Blender FIMAR FT901MD

A soundproof blender built to run in open kitchens without disrupting service. The motor spins the blade at high speed inside a sealed chamber, breaking down ingredients through rapid impact and shear. The enclosure dampens vibration and contains airborne noise, letting staff blend sauces, soups or smoothies while orders are taken and tables served.

The operator loads the Lexan cup to the 2 litre mark, selects one of five pre-set programmes or dials in one of ten speeds, then starts the cycle. The motor accelerates to the chosen rpm, maintaining it until the timer expires or the operator stops the machine. A clear lid allows progress to be watched without opening the chamber.

The blender is constructed with a stainless-steel base and a sound-absorbing housing around the motor and cup. The 1.8 kW motor draws power from a 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz supply, matching the standard single-phase circuit found in most commercial kitchens. A 7.5 kg weight keeps the unit stable on a worktop without permanent fixing, while the 200 mm width and 230 mm depth fit between standard under-cupboard clearances.

Controls include a rotary speed regulator for manual adjustment and five pre-set buttons that recall factory-set times and speeds for common tasks. The 28000 rpm maximum speed delivers fine emulsions and rapid breakdown of fibrous ingredients.

Cleaning follows from the sealed construction: the Lexan cup and lid lift off for washing, while the motor housing is wiped down without water ingress. The soundproofing materials require no maintenance beyond keeping the vents clear of dust.
