A vegetable cutter slices, dices and shreds fresh produce by forcing it against a rotating blade or grating disk. The TV4000 uses a horizontal feed tube and a motor-driven impeller that spins at 310 rpm. As the operator pushes vegetables down the tube, the impeller accelerates them outward against the chosen disk, cutting each piece to uniform thickness or shape. The method eliminates hand knives, speeds prep and keeps portions consistent across batches.
To operate, the operator selects a compatible disk, locks it into the cutting head, and secures the lid. Vegetables are loaded into the feed tube while the motor runs. The impeller draws each piece against the disk, and the cut product falls into a waiting container beneath the outlet chute. The process continues until the batch is complete, with no need to stop the motor between loads.
The TV4000 is built as a single cast aluminium body with a stainless-steel cutting head. The feed tube and outlet chute are also stainless steel, while the motor housing is powder-coated aluminium. A single rotary switch on the front panel starts and stops the motor; there are no additional timers or speed controls.
The 0.37 kW motor draws current from either a 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase supply, allowing the cutter to run on standard commercial circuits. The 27 kg weight keeps the unit stable on a worktop without bolting, yet light enough for one person to move with a trolley. The 280 mm depth, 630 mm width and 550 mm height create a footprint that fits between standard worktop cupboards and under most extractor canopies.
Cleaning follows the exposed parts: the feed tube, cutting head, impeller and outlet chute are removed, washed in hot water with detergent, rinsed and dried before reassembly. The aluminium body is wiped with a damp cloth; the motor housing is never immersed.
The TV4000 is supplied without cutting disks, so operators must purchase disks separately to match the required cut size and shape. The catalogue lists the TV4000 under vegetable preparation equipment, alongside peelers and mandolins.
