An appliance for cutting/slicing fruit and vegetables in various shapes and sizes, grating cheese, dry bread, chocolate, nuts; shredding carrots, celery, potatoes, apples, turnips, beetroots and Mozzarella. La Romagnola”, the TV2000 vegetable slicer successfully sold world-wide for over 20 years, has been restyled. AISI 304 stainless steel removable body and inlet. Safety micro switch on the handle and inlet. Dual product loading inlet. Weight 22 kg. Art.: TV2000R with set of 5 disks
A vegetable cutter processes fresh produce by driving a rotating blade through a feed tube. The motor turns the blade at a steady speed, forcing vegetables against the cutting edge to create uniform slices, shreds or cubes. This method replaces manual chopping, reducing preparation time and ensuring consistent results across large batches. The absence of a fixed cutting grid means the operator controls the size and shape by how the vegetables are fed into the machine.
To use the FIMAR 2000RN, the operator selects the appropriate blade, secures it to the motor shaft, and positions the feed tube above the cutting area. Vegetables are loaded into the tube and pressed down with the pusher, allowing the blade to slice them as it rotates. The machine runs continuously until the batch is complete, with the operator monitoring the feed rate to maintain consistency. Once finished, the motor is stopped, and the blade is removed for cleaning.
The 2000RN is constructed with a metal housing and a motor rated at 0.37 kW. It operates on either 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase power, making it suitable for standard commercial kitchen circuits. The unit measures 220 mm in depth, 610 mm in width and 520 mm in height, fitting on most worktops or prep tables. With a weight of 22 kg, it remains stable during operation but can be moved by two staff when necessary.
The motor speed of 255 rpm provides a balance between cutting efficiency and control, allowing the operator to adjust the feed rate without overloading the machine. The absence of included disks means the user supplies their own blades, enabling flexibility in the types of cuts produced. Regular cleaning involves removing the blade, wiping down the feed tube and housing, and ensuring the motor shaft remains free of debris to prevent uneven rotation.
The FIMAR 2000RN is categorised under commercial vegetable preparation equipment, designed for use in restaurants, catering operations and food production facilities.
