Upright freezer TEFCOLD UF600

An upright freezer that holds food at deep-freezing temperatures while organising it on standard gastronorm shelves. The TEFCOLD UF600 draws heat out of the cabinet with a refrigeration circuit charged with R600a refrigerant. The compressor circulates the refrigerant, which absorbs heat from the interior and releases it outside through the condenser coil. This continuous cycle maintains the set temperature between -24 °C and -10 °C, preserving perishable stock for weeks or months without ice crystals forming.

To use the freezer, load trays or containers onto the six fixed GN2/1 shelves. The solid door swings left or right as needed and seals tightly when closed. An electronic thermostat lets the operator set the exact temperature within the stated range. Adjustable feet level the cabinet on uneven floors, ensuring the door seals correctly and the compressor runs efficiently.

The cabinet is built from pre-coated steel panels with a smooth interior finish. Six fixed freezing shelves in GN2/1 size provide standardised storage that matches gastronorm trays and containers. The reversible solid door has a magnetic seal and a handle that opens from either side. The condenser coil and compressor are mounted at the base, accessible from the front for maintenance.

The 220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply matches standard UK single-phase circuits, drawing 0.190 kW when the compressor runs. The 555 L volume offers space for bulk storage, while the 777 mm width, 695 mm depth and 1895 mm height fit through standard doorways and under most worktop canopies. The 107 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move the unit into position.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior and shelves with a mild detergent solution, defrosting when ice builds up on the evaporator, and vacuuming the condenser coil to remove dust. The fixed shelves cannot be removed, so cleaning around them is done in place. The reversible door can be switched from left to right without tools, allowing the freezer to fit different kitchen layouts.
