This storage freezer maintains consistent low temperatures for bulk frozen goods. It operates using a vapour-compression system, where a compressor circulates refrigerant through coils to remove heat from the cabinet. The refrigerant R600a, a hydrocarbon, is selected for its efficiency and low environmental impact in refrigeration applications of this scale.

The unit features six fixed freezing shelves, each designed to accommodate standard GN2/1 gastronorm trays. An electronic thermostat allows temperature settings between -24 °C and -10 °C, with automatic maintenance of the chosen level. A lockable door ensures secure storage, while the integrated handle provides a space-saving flush front.

Constructed from pre-coated aluminium sheets over a steel frame, the cabinet resists corrosion and thermal stress. The seamless interior liner and rounded corners simplify cleaning, and the fixed shelves eliminate moving parts that could collect debris.

Controls include an electronic thermostat with a display for setting the target temperature within the specified range. A manual defrost cycle can be initiated if ice accumulates on the evaporator coils.

With a 420 litre capacity, the freezer accommodates bulk frozen ingredients or prepared meals. Its 0.190 kW power rating suits a standard 220-240 V electrical supply. Weighing 94 kg, the unit requires a trolley or two people for movement. The dimensions of 770 mm width, 722 mm depth, and 1702 mm height fit within standard worktop footprints but need adequate ceiling clearance.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, focusing on the seamless liner and shelves. The evaporator coils behind the rear panel should be brushed or vacuumed periodically to remove dust. The door seal should be inspected for damage and cleaned to ensure a tight seal.
